This is the beginning of something great in my mind, i have read several blogs by friends and strangers and one thing i have learned is that in a blog people can speak whats on their mind and when people read they don't feel so bad about their thoughts feelings and plans because they have that "im not the only one" feeling.
Ill start out about telling you a little bit about myself, My name is Sheena, im from a small town in Minnesota and i have a beautiful little family that consists on my fiance James and the feature of this blog my son Mr. Haydn James and myself, and we have more love than a family of 10.
About 19 months ago mine and James' life took the largest turn we will probably ever be faced with, it started with an oopps, a little white stick and a Wal*mart bathroom, yes ladies and gentleman i said it, a wal*mart bathroom, i figured i had to pee why waste it right? WRONG not something you want to figure out in a Wal*mart bathroom, well im sure you've caught on this is how i found out i was pregnant, and the worst part i had to wait to get home to tell James, i could only imagine what would have happened to us if i would have told him while he was driving. So when we got home we had a talk and through tears and talk we made it through the night and with a plan, God had blessed us with a baby and we were gonna love him or her with all we had, James and i had been together for about 2 years but we weren't sure we were ready for such a big step but as most of you know you really don't have a choice. So through about 8 months of cravings, heart burn and late night tacos on July, 3rd 2010 We had a beautiful baby boy and named him Haydn James and weighed 9lbs 11 oz, yup he was big and no he didn't come out the right way so it only took 37 hours and a c- section but he was finally here and to our surprise parent hood fit us well, nightly feedings and many diapers later Haydn was sleeping through the night by 2 months, crawling by 5 months and picking him self up by 7 months, no teeth but TONS of personality, at 8 months he started getting in to EVERYTHING and at 10 months now hes trying to walk but not gracefully and can say turtle, yet this isn't just gonna be a blog about the mile stones my baby makes, but the goofy things you come across being a mom, and thoughts and questions i have i hope you check in often i am hoping to post at least once a day with videos and pictures and posts.
Excited to read your blog Sheena!! :)
